The Subdelegate of the Government in Zaragoza, Noelia Herrero, participated this Wednesday, March 13, in a coordination meeting in the City of Caspe. The meeting aimed to anticipate the campaign to collect fruit in the locality, coordinating all the administrations involved in the process and preventing incidents.
The meeting was attended by the chief colonel of the Civil Guard Command of Zaragoza, Luis Germán Avilés; the lieutenant of the Caspe company, Jorge Rueda Jiménez; the provincial commissioner of the National Police in Zaragoza, Francisco Javier Abadía Tirado; and the provincial commissioner for Foreigners and Borders, Pilar Callejero Cornao. The municipality has been attended by the mayor of the town, Ana María Jarque; the delegate councilor for Social Exclusion, Social Assistance and Immigration, Encarnación Romero Gónzalez and the head of the Local Police of Caspe, Pedro Obón Ceperuelo.
The meeting served to highlight the positive institutional collaboration between administrations, as well as the coordination between the different police forces and some measures have been established to improve citizen coexistence in the coming months. The Provincial Brigade for Foreigners and Borders of the National Police has indicated that training and advice will be offered to agricultural entrepreneurs in the town to facilitate at all times the procedures with the workforce of foreign origin.
In addition, the Civil Guard will carry out a reinforcement of the talks they hold in schools, within the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Schools and their Environments, and work will be done in the classrooms to provide the youngest students with the necessary knowledge and tools, in order to prevent or detect risk situations that may affect their safety.
The subdelegate of the Government has stressed that although an increase in crime and hate crimes in the town has not been detected in the latest agricultural campaigns, it is necessary to maintain coordination among all the actors involved and thus maintain coexistence and increase the sense of security among the neighbors.
