Andalusia registered in February a total of 239,639 contracts, of which 43.7% were indefinite (104,871), data that, in the opinion of the delegate of the Government of Spain in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, “demonstrate that the measures of the Executive to improve the labor market and protect employment have a real effect in our community.”
Fernández compared these figures to February 2022 “and again they show that job stability has embarked on the path pursued by the Labor Reform activated by this Government, since there have been 58,954 indefinite contracts more than in February last year, that is, a growth of 128.3%”.
“If we continue comparing figures, Andalusia has added 549,663 new hires since the beginning of the year, 241,049 indefinite, which represents 43.8% and certifies that job stability has become the priority within the labor market, facing the change essential to end temporality and shielding labor rights.”
With these arguments, the government delegate has highlighted "how the country has been able not only to protect the worker through the ERTE, but also to give him certainty for the future with measures such as labor reform, the rise of the SMI, the labor equality of the collective of domestic workers or the recent labor improvement for the cultural and artistic collective".
