The young beneficiaries of the First Professional Experience program of the Delegation of the Government of Melilla have participated in the meeting that the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory has organized electronically and in which the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy, Arcadi Spain, together with representatives of the Ministry, the Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) and all the Delegations of the Government of the country have participated.
The meeting, which was attended by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh; the General Secretary of the Delegation, Sana Abdeslam; and the public employees who have tutored the staff of the program, has served to exchange impressions, get to know the point of view of both the young people who have participated in this initiative and the Administration itself, and analyze what can be improved in view of new editions of the program.
Moh, for his part, has thanked the young people who have participated in this initiative that is about to end, while highlighting that Melilla has been the Government Delegation that has incorporated the largest number of people into the world of work through this program. “We believed in this project from day one and time was right,” he said.
“It has been a pleasure and an honor to have you in the different offices of the General State Administration (AGE) of Melilla, you have learned a lot but you have also taught us a lot”, said the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city, who stressed the importance of public services as a pillar of the Welfare State, while highlighting the talent demonstrated and the work that these young people have done during all these months.
“Young people are the present and the future of this city and this country, now that you have known the public service from within, I hope that many of you will take the step to access public employment,” he said.
Moh has also had words of thanks to the staff of the Secretary General for the organization of the program as well as to the employees who have tutored young people for their work.
One of the participants of this program in Melilla, Laura León, in her speech expressed her gratitude for being part of the project that together with the treatment and affection shown by the public employees have made the “experience key to my personal and professional growth”.
