“The Government of Pedro Sánchez, during these almost 5 and a half years has worked for and for the fulfillment of each and every one of the articles of the Constitution and the new Government will continue to work with a single objective equality, solidarity and, ultimately, for the right of all and all Spaniards.”
The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, after the act on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, in statements to the media, has congratulated all the Melillense and Spanish citizens and recalled that they have been “45 years protected under our Magna Carta, which came to bring more rights, harmony, social justice equality and in that sphere is what this Government is working on.”
The new government, Moh said, “will continue to work along the same lines, along the lines of dialogue, harmony, peace and social justice.” Faced with this, it has been asked if the Popular Party could say the same since they have been blocking the renewal of the General Council of the Judicial Power for five years and, “when we talk about compliance with the Constitution, we talk about compliance with each and every one of its articles, including that.”
Not only that, the head of the Delegation recalled that the Executive of Pedro Sánchez has doubled the amount destined for scholarships in our country, compared to the cuts in this matter that was dedicated to the Government of Rajoy.
He also referred to the measures adopted by the Government of Spain these 5 years in favor of a decent wage and stable work despite the fact that the people opposed the increase in the interprofessional minimum wage or the labor reform that has come to bring stability to employment.
Measures, Moh has made clear, that contribute to the real and effective equality of Spanish citizenship, so the Executive of Pedro Sánchez can not receive lessons from anyone in terms of compliance with the Constitution, he has apostilled.
In her speech, the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city has valued the fact that the new Executive has approved the first Parity Law, “another example of the work for that equality so necessary for our country to continue living in harmony, to continue moving towards an egalitarian future and towards a feminist country.” “We are going to work for it with real measures,” he added.
And in that line, he has referred to initiatives such as the housing law or the increase of pensions. A whole battery of measures with a single objective, to end inequalities, to bet on real and effective equality, he stressed.
Moh has stressed that the government is going to “bet on social justice in our country, because all people have decent housing, the right of all and all workers” because “that is the Constitution, and that is equality. And voting against it is not,” he said.
