The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, stressed that “the deconcentration of headquarters of public agencies will improve the quality of our democracy, strengthen transparency and strengthen the effectiveness of our institutions in the service of citizens.”
Isabel Rodríguez, who chaired the meeting of the Advisory Commission for the determination of the headquarters of the entities belonging to the public institutional state sector, stressed that the deconcentration of newly created entities “will contribute to the emergence of a new political culture in Spain, which brings the institutions closer to the citizens, which creates a more permeable and transparent environment in the decision-making process and facilitates greater equality of opportunities in access to the public service.”
The minister has highlighted the ultimate goal of this government commitment: “Strengthen the structuring of our country and encourage public institutions to play an ambitious role in promoting the social and territorial cohesion of our country.”
