The government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, has praised the “vocation of public service” demonstrated by the main commissioner Carmen Martínez during her four years as senior police chief in the autonomous community, since she has served since October 2021.
Casares has thanked Martínez for the “important” work carried out in the autonomous community and whose results are “palpable for citizenship” in the two demarcations competed by the National Police, in the cities of Santander and Torrelavega.
“The Government of Spain is tremendously proud of the work of the Chief Police Officer during these four years who has worked in Cantabria at the head of the almost 600 troops of the body,” said Casares after the meeting he had this Thursday with Carmen Martínez in the Delegation.
For this reason, she has conveyed her gratitude for the work carried out both by her as Senior Chief and by the National Police forces that “guarantee our security and our peaceful coexistence”.
