The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, visited today the Castilian-Manchego municipality of Mira (Cuenca), which has so far received a total of 24.7 million euros in aid, after being one of the localities most punished by the Dana on October 29.
Torres has been able to visit the most affected area of the municipality, which has destined 11.7 million euros for the reconstruction of the local infrastructures damaged by the rains. “This is 100% of the investment in these facilities, which are fundamental to guarantee the most immediate services to citizens,” said the minister, who has been accompanied by the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy, Arcadi Spain; the Government’s deputy delegate in Cuenca, María Luz Fernández; and the mayor of Mira, María Miriam Lava.
