The Minister of Territorial Policy and spokeswoman for the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, highlighted today that “the Employment Plan for Melilla, endowed with 15 million euros, within the Integral Plan, to provide young people with a future of opportunities in their City, can mean the creation of more than 1,500 jobs”.
Announcement made by the minister, precisely the day on which the EPA has offered historical employment data in Spain in the third quarter: “More than 20.5 million people are employed, the highest number since 2008. Government reforms work, as we see with labor reform,” he said.
Isabel Rodríguez, who presented the Comprehensive Socio-Economic Development Plan in Melilla, together with President Eduardo de Castro, whom he thanked for his collaboration, also announced that “before the end of the year, we will convene the Working Group to improve connectivity between Melilla and the Peninsula, a key element for the sustainable development of Spain.”
