With the support of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, the University of Granada, through the Salvador Vila Chair, and Spain in Libertad 50 years, an institutional event has been held in which prominent personalities from the academic, institutional and social field of Andalusia have participated.
With the opening of the day by Professor Teresa Ortega, the vice-rector Margarita Sánchez Romero has spoken; the mayor of Víznar, David Espigados; the director of the Salvador Vila Chair, Francisco Carrión; and Angela Raya and Antonio María García, relatives of the victims.
Representatives of memory associations have also participated, such as the Grenadian Association for the Recovery of Historical Memory –Rafael Gil–, Truth, Justice and Reparation –Juan Francisco Arenas–, and Fernando Alcalá, for the April 14 Association.
The tribute was closed by the Secretary of State for Democratic Memory, Fernando Martínez.
After the event, the play "Federico" was represented. There is no oblivion, no dream: living flesh", a document between the memory, the desire and the imagination that travels to the bottom of the earth, where the disappeared and the disappeared live. A creation by María San Miguel, interpreted by Alba Muñoz, Pablo Rodríguez and María San Miguel.
