The Government approved this Tuesday in the Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, to allocate 200,000 euros to Cantabria to continue promoting the Network of National Reference Centers (CRN) for Vocational Training, with investment in the CRN of Electronics of Torrelavega.
The total investment proposed by the Ministry to transfer to autonomous communities is 7,407,823.79 euros in grants to continue promoting the network of National Reference Centers (CRN) for Professional Training for the development of the actions foreseen in its annual work plans 2025.
Among the numerous actions of these plans are the promotion of innovation and experimentation actions for the VET system; designing dissemination strategies aimed at both companies and centers belonging to the productive sector linked to the CRN; developing training plans for teaching staff, trainers, experts and professional counselors; training actions aimed at students, employed and unemployed workers, as well as entrepreneurs, linked to the National Catalogue of Professional Competency Standards; and developing entrepreneurship actions and the insertion into the VET of sectors at risk of social exclusion. In addition, promote collaboration between the Reference Centres and with the Network of Centres of Excellence.
To apply for these grants, the autonomous communities and entities belonging to the General Administration of the State have a deadline from the date of entry into force of the royal decree until September 30, 2025. The aid is finalist and will have an execution period of 12 months from the date of publication of the concession resolution in the National Database of Subsidies.
The Network of National Reference Centres has a total of 40 State centres in several autonomous communities serving the Vocational Training system, which facilitate more competitive training and respond to changes in the demand for qualifications of the productive sectors. His work is a guiding reference for the productive and training sector. They are distinguished by programming and executing actions of an innovative, experimental and formative nature, so that they serve as a reference for the entire Vocational Training System. Therefore, the operation of these centers and the actions foreseen in their work plans are of outstanding public and economic interest.
