- To promote the implementation of the measures adopted by the General Administration of the State in this matter.
- Carry out the analysis and periodic follow-up of the measures adopted by the General Administration of the State.
- To submit periodic reports to the Government on the activities carried out and the results obtained, as well as any proposals deemed necessary for the proper fulfilment of the mandated functions.
- To gather from the various ministerial departments, entities dependent on the General Administration of the State and the Government Delegation in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands as much information as is necessary for the fulfilment of their functions, and to convene any meetings required for that purpose.
- Promote the coordination of the General Administration of the State with the Canary Islands public administrations in this matter.
- Support the head of the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory in the exercise of the functions of the co-presidency of the Joint Commission for Reconstruction, Recovery and Support to the island of La Palma.
- To attend, on behalf of the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, the sessions and work of the technical group of the Joint Commission for Reconstruction, Recovery and Support to the island of La Palma.
- How many other functions are entrusted to him by the person in charge of the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory.
