The Judicial Police team of the Burriana Civil Guard has conducted the investigation after being aware at the end of last year of the existence of the point of sale of narcotic substances in the town of Moncofar.

After multiple tasks of investigation, surveillance, discreet monitoring, analysis of the data obtained and police monitoring of the criminal network, the Civil Guard obtained clear evidence of the structure and coordination of the criminal organization, in addition it was verified that for the money laundering they used as front men relatives residing in the Vall D’Uixò.

In the exploitation phase of the operation that took place last week, three simultaneous home searches were carried out in the localities already reviewed, and it was supported by patrols from the Burriana Company, USECIC and the Cinological Service.

The effects used in the commission of the criminal acts, 358 grams of mdmda (in 1,300 pills), 686 grams of cocaine, more than 3,000 grams of marijuana buds, 30 grams of hashish pollen, 9 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 51 marijuana plants, 2,055 euros, and three short weapons of different categories were seized. In addition, in a safe that the testaferros had intervened 245,013 euros, which proceeded to the blocking of properties, vehicles and bank accounts that would come from the illicit activity.

Those involved are attributed a crime of criminal organization, another one against public health for drug trafficking, electric fluid fraud, money laundering and illegal possession of weapons.

The detainees along with the instructed proceedings have been handed over to the Courts of Guardia de Nules (Castellón).
