The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has awarded funds worth 2,302,185 euros to SAPA Operations after analysing its allegations in the PERTE VEC Follow-up Commission. In total there are 1,600,398 euros of subsidy and another 701,787 euros of loan the amount awarded to the Gipuzkoan company.
Marisol Garmendia, delegate of the Government of Spain in the Basque Country, has valued this new grant of aid to the Basque economy “in its firm and determined commitment to decarbonization and the promotion of a more sustainable and advanced industry. The money keeps coming to our companies as you can see once again.”
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
In addition, Industria allocates 90.2 million euros between grants and loans of the third call of the PERTE of the Electric and Connected Vehicle in its value chain section to 13 companies. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, during the inauguration of the new Secretary of State for Industry, Jordi García Brustenga, who replaces Rebeca Torró.
During his speech, Hereu announced that the new director of the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) will be Diego Crescente, who had previously worked in this body as Director of Communication and now held the position of Director of Communication of RENFE. There are also changes in the direction of ENISA, where its current CEO, Borja Cabezón, leaves office. Carolina Rodríguez will relieve him in his position.
