BASES
Information about the Open Administration Week
1. All painters and painters who wish to participate, as long as they are older, will be able to participate.
2. Those who wish to participate must fill out the registration form that can be accessed through the link that appears at the bottom of these bases.
3. The registration period will be from 10/05/2025 to 30/05/2025, inclusive.
4. The contest will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, and the participants must present themselves between 9:00 and 10:00 in the Assembly Hall of the Spanish Government Subdelegation in Granada, located in C/ Gran Vía 50, in order to formalize their participation and seal and number the supports by the organization. In case of deterioration, a second support can be sealed, delivering the damaged one.
5. The supports must be rigid, with a smooth and monocoloured primer. The size of the format will not be less than 50 cm, nor more than 120 cm, on any of its sides. A single work will be admitted per participant.
6. Each artist must be provided with all the material they may need to develop their work, including the easel on which they will exhibit their work on the day the organization is established.
7. The picture will be painted outdoors. The theme will be any motif (facade, gardens, corner, room…) of the building of the Subdelegation of Government. The technique and style will be free.
8. The works will be presented without signature, in the Assembly Hall of the Government Subdelegation between 16:30 h and 17:30 h. The paintings will remain in the custody of the Subdelegation until the communication of the jury's decision and delivery of prizes and in no case can they be withdrawn before the jury's decision is made known.
9. The following prizes will be awarded:
- A cheque worth 600 € in painting material.
- The winning work will become part of the artistic heritage of this Subdelegation, occupying a privileged place in its dependencies.
- The winner will have at his disposal the Müller Palace, headquarters of this Subdelegation of the Government, to make an exhibition of his work open to the public for 15 days.
The prizes will be subject to current tax legislation, with the legally established withholdings being made on these amounts.
10. The jury’s decision will be announced on the same day at 6:30 p.m. in public.
11. The jury will be composed of people related to the world of Fine Arts, whose names will be made public at the beginning of the day.
12. Participation in this contest implies the total acceptance of the present bases. Any incident on aspects not contemplated in them, will be resolved by the jury, whose decisions will be unappealable.
13. The organization is not responsible, in any case, for the loss or deterioration of the works or the material of each participant.
