Deadline: until 19/11/2025
On June 26, 2025, the Resolution of June 23, 2025, of the Secretariat of State for Democratic Memory, was published in the BOE, which published the Agreement for the Opening of the Procedure for the Declaration of the Place of Democratic Memory of the “Complex formed by the building located at number 10 of Peironcely Street, the space known as Plaza del Photographer Robert Capa, the annexed landscaped area and the parish of San Carlos Borromeo, Madrid”. The initiation of this procedure entails the preventive annotation of the property in the Inventory of Places of Democratic Memory, in accordance with article 50.3 of Law 20/2022, of October 19, on Democratic Memory.
Therefore, once the allegations made in the hearing procedure and the requested reports have been incorporated, the General Directorate for the Promotion of Democratic Memory has agreed to open a period of public information for 20 working days from the day following the publication of the same agreement (art. 82 and 83 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations).
The purpose of the public information procedure is to give the option to those who have an interest in the matter to examine the dossier and to make whatever they deem appropriate. The claims can be presented in any of the Registers established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, or on this same website via this form.
Queries or allegations may be submitted for a period of 20 working days from the day following the publication of this agreement in the Official State Gazette, so that all those who have an interest in the matter may examine the file and state what they deem appropriate with regard to the property.
