The Master Plan for the Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments is a tool that makes the Ministry of the Interior available to the school community of Spain to improve the security of educational centers and the people who come to them, to receive or to impart training.
In Galicia, it is the Government Delegation, through the High Inspection Area of Education, responsible for coordinating this plan, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Professional Training of the Xunta de Galicia and FEGAMP.
Among the actions contained in the Master Plan are the holding of conferences and activities in schools aimed at the educational community, as well as police surveillance in the surroundings of the schools and other actions that contribute to school security and the improvement of coexistence.

News for this course 2024-2025
In this academic year 2024-2025, we expanded the offer of training and informative talks aimed at students and teachers, placing emphasis on the prevention of violence against women and discriminatory attitudes based on gender.
The talks are given by the State Security Bodies and Forces: National Police (Citizen Participation of each police station) and Civil Guard in their respective demarcations. The training focuses on topics related to the protection of minors and adolescents and their right to personal security, dealing with issues such as cybersecurity, bullying, drugs and alcohol, new addictions, hate crimes and discrimination or the prevention of sexual crimes.
We try to continue increasing the number of families attending the talks, with new application forms and actions aimed at this group. This year we make available a specific form for AMPAS and Parent Associations, which we offer on this page.

REQUEST PROCEDURE FOR TALKS FROM THE MASTER PLAN. ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025
For this school year, we grant two types of applications, the one for schools (students, management and/or management team) and the one for AMPAS and parents’ associations.
The process is identical for both applicants.
1st. Download the application form adapted to Schools and AMPAS (available in Galician and Spanish).
2nd. Cover it, with the center/association and contact details. In this form it is very important to select, from the list available, the talks in which they are interested and the group to which they would be directed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE TALKS GIVEN WITHIN THE MASTER PLAN
· All actions in a center, both for students and for the educational community, must be requested in A SINGLE CHIP.
· The talks requested by a center could be given by agents/staff of different bodies/units depending on the subject. They will contact you to specify dates and topics to be taught.
· If you are interested in other types of actions: access to a police expert, meetings with agents, exhibitions, requests for increased surveillance in the environment of your center,… do not hesitate to contact the reference agent of your center.
· From the area of the High Inspection of Education we can use the contact data provided to manage your request, inform you of acts or events related to the Master Plan; as well as to request your participation in the evaluation survey of the Master Plan.
