To request it, the Application form Completed and signed together with the original documentation indicated on its back, to accredit the following extremes:

• identity
• The exercise of Spanish nationality while performing work abroad
• the date of the last departure from Spain
• the data of the return to Spain
• the work done abroad
• the residence in a locality of the province of Barcelona.

Important: "Spaniards who return from the member countries of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Australia, having in the latter case held permanent residence in that country, will not be required to obtain the certificate of returned emigrant to access the unemployment benefit since, if applicable, they will prove the work done abroad directly to the SEPE."
