This certificate accredits the legal situation of unemployment and serves to apply for unemployment benefits of contributory or assistance level. You can consult in this link to the SEPE All the documentation you need depending on the benefit to which you are entitled.
The certificate will prove the condition of returned emigrant, the date of the last departure from Spain, the date of return, the time worked in a foreign country, the period of paid employment, if applicable, as well as that the worker does not have the right to unemployment benefit in that country.
DOCUMENTATION NEEDED
- Application form Completed and signed together with the Original Documentation indicated on the back.
IMPORTANT
The Spanish who return from the member countries of the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or Australia, having in the latter case held permanent residence in that country, will not be required to obtain the certificate of returned emigrant to access the unemployment benefit since, if applicable, they will prove the work done abroad directly to the SEPE.
