Teruel.- The Government Subdelegation in Teruel has coordinated an information day aimed at students of 4th ESO, 2nd Baccalaureate and Training Cycles, held in person at the IES Vega del Turia, with the participation of 360 students in total, among the students present in the auditorium and the one who has followed the remote talk from different educational centers of the province.
The objective of the activity has been to make known the professional outings within the Security Forces and Corps, as well as the access requirements, selective processes and characteristics of the different professional careers.
The day was inaugurated by the provincial director of Education, José Luis Castán, who highlighted the importance of this type of initiative as a tool for academic and professional guidance, in addition to highlighting the daily work carried out by the Security Forces and Corps in the service of citizenship and democratic coexistence.
Subsequently, the deputy delegate of the Government in Teruel, Enrique Gómez, has reinforced the importance of the presence of women in the Security Forces and Corps, highlighting the commitment of the Government to equal opportunities and highlighting the job and professional opportunities offered by these bodies. Likewise, he wanted to expressly thank the collaboration of the Higher Degree Training Cycle in Audiovisual Production and Shows, responsible for the retransmission of the act, which has contributed decisively to its development and dissemination.
During the session, representatives of the Subdelegation of Defense, Civil Guard, National Police and Local Police spoke, offering students a direct and close vision of their functions and job opportunities. The activity is part of the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments.
The day had a balanced presence of male and female professionals from the different bodies, in line with the commitment of the Government of Spain to gender equality and the objective of achieving a minimum female representation of 40% in the Police Corps.
With this initiative, the Government Subdelegation in Teruel reinforces its commitment to the professional orientation of students, bringing State institutions closer to the educational environment and providing key information for academic and labor decision-making.
