The Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments has carried out this course 1650 training and informative activities in 492 educational centers in the Region of Murcia, has detailed the delegate of the Government in an act in which she has wanted to recognize the work carried out by professionals of the National Police, Civil Guard and the head of the Coordination Unit against Violence on Women of the Government Delegation within the framework of this plan.
Mariola Guevara has reported that the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying and the risks of the internet and social networks remain the most demanded topics within the Master Plan for Coexistence in Educational Centers and their Environments, which last year held a total of 2,026 training and informative activities and conferences in more than 400 educational centers in the Region of Murcia.
The Government delegate has highlighted the importance of this program to contribute to greater training of students with measures to improve their own protection and safety in their educational environments and adding new topics every year, as has happened this course with Road and Environmental Education.
Of the 1,650 lectures and activities given this course, the National Police has conducted 716, Civil Guard, 830 and the Violence against Women Unit of the Government Delegation, 104.

The Master Plan, which is developed jointly by the Government Delegation, through the High Inspection of Education and the Unit for Violence against Women, the National Police, the Civil Guard and the Ministry of Education, through its Observatory for Coexistence, aims to reinforce prevention through training in respect for fundamental rights and freedoms and to inculcate in students values as important as dignity and equality and prevent behaviours of gender violence, racism or xenophobia.
The Master Plan, in addition to conducting talks for students, incorporates other actions such as:
-Coordination meetings with management teams, teaching teams and Ampas, of which 354 have been held in this course.
-Increased surveillance in school environments: with 4,700 surveillance actions by the State Security Bodies and Forces.
-Permanent access to a police expert (On specific topics demanded by the centers)
-Exhibitions aimed at bringing the State Security Bodies and Forces closer to the students: Deactivation of explosives, guide dogs, anti-riot,…
The Master Plan, in an attempt to improve the confidence of children and young people in the State Security Forces and Corps, also includes exhibitions of both bodies.
The Plan is carried out in schools that request it voluntarily, is adapted to the needs of each of them and involves students, teachers and parents, together with the State Security Forces and Corps, whose agents, through talks, meetings, exhibitions, conferences and monitoring, address the issues that are specific to the Plan:
- Bullying at school
- Drugs and alcohol
- Violent gangs, racism and intolerance
- Violence against women and discrimination
- Internet and social network risks
